Cooking Beef With Leeks and Snow Peas Recipe

375 g (12 oz.) rump steak, cut into very thin strips
2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 stem lemon grass, white part only, finely chopped
1 leek, white part only, thinly sliced
2 celery sticks, thickly sliced
8 spring onions, diagonally sliced
150 g (5 oz.) snow peas, halved
100 g (3 1/2 oz.) oyster mushrooms, halved
2 tablespoons kecap manis
2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
3 kaffir lime leaves, shredded (see Hint)
1 tablespoon fish sauce

1, If you would like to start cooking Beef With Leeks And Snow Peas Recipes, first heat the wok until very hot, add 1 tablespoon of the oil and swirl it around to coat the side. Stir-fry the beef strips, garlic and lemon grass in two or three batches over high heat for 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is browned. Remove all the beef mixture from the wok,

Return all the beef and vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until the beef has just heated through and everything is well coated with the sauce. Toss the shredded kaffir lime leaves through the mixture and sprinkle with the fish sauce, to taste. Serve at once,
